Chiropractic care is essential to keep the body healthy and strong throughout pregnancy and during childbirth. This enables the reproductive system and other systems vital to the baby to receive proper nerve and blood supply. During pregnancy, the center of gravity shifts and the weight of the baby places increased pressure on the spine and pelvis. Towards the end of the pregnancy, changes are also seen in the gait pattern. Proper positioning of the pelvis allows for an easier delivery.
Also, chiropractic can be helpful in turning a baby in the breech position.
